Master Blaster Exploding Foam

Ingredients

  • A safe workspace
  • Safety goggles
  • Gloves
  • A funnel
  • 3/4 cup industrial strength 30% hydrogen peroxide
  • Squirt of dish soap
  • An empty liter-sized soda bottle
  • Food coloring
  • A plastic cup
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons water

Preparation

Put on your safety goggles and gloves. Using a funnel, pour the hydrogen peroxide into the empty soda bottle. Add the dish soap and food coloring, if using.

In the plastic cup, mix the active dry yeast with the water. With a parent or guardian nearby, use the funnel to carefully pour the yeast-and-water mixture into the soda bottle. Then….
